Moving Beethoven
Starting at the Freiheitsplatz, the musician Karoline Pilcz takes you on an entertaining walk in the footsteps of Ludwig van Beethoven through the center of Mödling
From Freiheitsplatz we walk through the Klostergasse, continuing via the Bezirksmuseum, the Beethovenstätten in Achsenaugasse and Hauptstraße, it leads us up to the church of St. Othmar. The stories are linked to the respective location and enriched with related music and sounds. Carefully selected recordings of Beethoven compositions, mostly created in Mödling, alternate with entertaining portrayals, which are constantly guided acoustically. This creates an interplay of language, sounds and places to bring Beethoven's history to life in Mödling.
Starting point Freiheitsplatz
Duration approx. 30 min. - The walk can be continued behind St. Othmar accompanied by Beethoven's Pastorale (6th Symphony) on Kalenderberg.
