From now on we will inform you about updates and things we consider important for you to know on a regular basis. Don't be afraid, we will not spam you mailbox every day, more likely every month or so :)

For all the early adopters amongst you, we have to mention that the initial project "HearhearMe" was renamed to "Locosonic", we migrated all HearhearMe users to the new Locosonic system. Although http://hearhear.me/ is still up and running, we will not further develop the platform.

Our intention is to keep you informed about important updates regarding our mobile apps and the Locosonic soundscape editor, as well as to announce great soundscape productions.

If you don't want to receive further newsletters, just click on the unsubscribe link at the end of this email.

Enjoy reading and have a good day!

Soundscape editor updates

Editor

We want our soundscape editor to be a cozy place for soundscape producers, so we have put a lot of effort in the development of the user interface.

Some features and improvements we want to mention are:

* Manage you locations with the new location browser
* Upload sounds on a per location basis
* New Dashboard view for a quick overview over your statistics
* New polygon location type
* Better simulation
* Reworked soundscape detail view
* Redesigned freesound integration

Enough text, just try it out and feel the difference!

Improved documentation

Readme.io

We have decided to move the internal docs out of the editor. We are using the excellent service from readme.io, where we constantly will be adding things like frequently asked questions, soundscape editor help and soundscape creation guidelines, as well as some tips and tricks for creating sounscapes.

Just give it a try, we consider the docs essential for every soundscape producer!
